Beaches Turks & Caicos

The Italian Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos: Advisor Review

In our experience helping families book the Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos, the questions are always the same: which suites actually fit our family, what’s walking distance for food and drinks, and how close are we to Pirates Island Waterpark. This guide answers all three, using only what the official resort fact sheet and beaches.com say about this village.

What makes the Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos different

The Italian Village is one of the resort’s villages at Beaches Turks & Caicos, which sits on 95 acres on Providenciales. It’s built as a Tuscan-styled complex with eight named buildings: Capri, Amalfi, Pisa, San Marino, Positano, Milano, Tivoli, and Pompeii.

The detail that matters most to families: per the resort’s official bar list, Pirates Island Waterpark’s nightclub bar — Liquid by Beaches — is located at “The water park in the Italian Village”. That places the waterpark at this village on the resort’s own fact sheet, which is why Italian Village suites come up so often for families who want fast access to the slides without crossing the whole property.

For the broader layout, see our overview of all five villages and our Beaches Turks & Caicos map guide.

Italian Village rooms and suites

The Italian Village is built around family suites — several of the categories sleep 10, 11, or 12 people. Every room at Beaches Turks & Caicos includes air conditioning, king or double beds, satellite TV, refrigerator, safe, coffee maker, and a private bath and/or shower. In the Italian Village specifically, most published categories are Concierge or Butler Elite tier family suites.

A few of the notable Italian Village categories from the fact sheet:

  • TWP — Italian Beachfront Two Bedroom Walkout Butler Family Suite. Capri Building, 1st floor, sleeps 12.
  • G2 — Italian Beachfront Two Bedroom Butler Family Suite. Capri Building, 2nd–4th floors, sleeps 12.
  • PP — Italian Beachfront Penthouse Two Bedroom Imperial Butler Family Suite. Capri Building, 5th & 6th floors, sleeps 12.
  • MP — Italian Oceanview Two Bedroom Butler Family Suite. Pisa & San Marino, 3rd & 4th floors, sleeps 10.
  • FWP — Italian Two Bedroom Poolside Walkout Butler Family Suite. Pisa & San Marino, 1st floor, sleeps 11.
  • RW — Italian Oceanfront Walkout Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room. Amalfi & Capri, 1st floor, sleeps 8.
  • PW — Italian Poolside Walkout Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room. Positano, Milano, Tivoli, Pompeii, Pisa, or San Marino, 1st floor, sleeps 7.
  • V2 — Italian Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room. Positano, Milano, Tivoli, Pompeii, Pisa, or San Marino, 2nd floor, sleeps 6.

The practical takeaway: if you need 10–12 beds under one roof, the Capri-building Butler categories (TWP, G2, PP) are the largest in this village. If you want a walkout straight to the Italian Village pool, FWP and PW are the ground-floor poolside options. Dining and bars in the Italian Village

You don’t need to leave the Italian Village to eat or get a drink. Two sit-down venues and four bars are listed at this village on the resort’s fact sheet:

VenueTypeHours
Giuseppe’sItalian buffet (resort evening attire for all seatings)Breakfast 7:00am–10:30am, lunch 12:30pm–2:30pm, dinner 5:30pm–9:30pm
The Cricketer’s PubBritish pub, lunch & dinner12:00pm–2:00am
Trevi Swim Up BarSwim-up bar at Italian Village Pool10:00am–7:00pm
Kelly’s BarConcierge Lobby at Italian Village10:00am–12:00pm
Liquid by BeachesWaterpark at Italian Village (late-night)8:00pm–2:00am

A couple of adjacent spots are effectively next door because Pirates Island Pool is at the Italian Village. Bobby D’s, the 50’s-style diner, runs 11:00am–6:00am at the Pirates Island Pool area. Bobby D’s Bar — labeled non-alcoholic on the fact sheet, which is useful to know when the kids order — operates 10:00am–5:00pm at the same pool.

Two dress-code notes worth flagging for families: Giuseppe’s requires resort evening attire at every seating, including breakfast and lunch. The Cricketer’s Pub is resort casual. “Resort evening attire” at participating Beaches restaurants bars shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers, flip-flops, slippers, hats, and caps — pack accordingly if Giuseppe’s is on your dining list.

Pools and Pirates Island Waterpark

The resort runs 10 freshwater pools, 4 whirlpools, and 1 scuba dive pool across the property. The Italian Village has its own pool, home of the Trevi Swim Up Bar.

Pirates Island Waterpark — the resort’s big draw for kids — is 45,000 square feet with 9 slides, a lazy river, a surf simulator, water cannons, cranks, and spray features. Beaches.com also describes it as including “gigantic waterslides, kid-friendly pools, swim-up soda bars, lazy rivers, interactive splash deck”. It’s open daily from 7:00am to 9:00pm. And, again, the resort’s own fact sheet lists the waterpark bar at the Italian Village — which is why families who prioritize waterpark time often look here first. For a deeper look, see our Pirates Island Waterpark guide.

Who the Italian Village is best for

Based on what the fact sheet actually says, the Italian Village tends to fit a few specific trips well:

  • Larger multi-gen families. Several Capri-building Butler categories (TWP, G2, PP) sleep up to 12, and Pisa/San Marino categories (MP, NP, FWP, M2P) sleep 10–11. These are some of the biggest standard (non-villa) family suites at the resort.
  • Waterpark-focused kid trips. Pirates Island Waterpark’s bar is listed at the Italian Village on the fact sheet, so families who want fast waterpark access without crossing the whole property often book here.
  • Later-night parents. The Cricketer’s Pub runs to 2:00am and Liquid by Beaches runs 8:00pm–2:00am — both in the Italian Village — so a late drink after the kids are down is a short walk, not a property trek.
  • Walkout-to-pool preferences. FWP and PW are ground-floor walkout categories that open toward the Italian Village pool area.

If your priority is beachfront villas with private plunge pools or the quietest corner of the property, other villages may suit better — our full Beaches Turks & Caicos review compares the options.
