Beaches Barbados is a planned new all-inclusive family resort from Beaches Resorts, the family-focused brand of Sandals Resorts International. Set to break ground in late 2025 on the site of the former Almond Beach Village, the resort will mark the Beaches brand’s first entry into Barbados.
The new property is expected to feature 600 rooms and suites, including standard king and queen accommodations as well as spacious four-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot villa-style suites designed for larger families. A standout feature will be its “Main Street” concept, a winding central area with dining, shopping, outdoor entertainment spaces, and a modern sports bar.
Beaches Barbados is also expected to include signature family-friendly amenities such as a Pirates Island waterpark, kids programming, and multiple restaurants. Once open, it will join the company’s two existing adults-only Barbados resorts, Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados, while introducing a dedicated family vacation option to the island.
